I've organized dinners for impromptu get togethers for other tribes, and am interested in doing the same for BAEN. Any takers?
Depending on interest and availability - time, date, place TBD
I try and schedule dinners in various locales so that all neighborhoods in the 650 are represented. It's a fun way for people to get together between events, a way to gather a community presence in person, and get to know your fellow Community members outside the virtual arena.
If interested, please respond here, or alternative you can contact me via my tribe.net email / YIM/AIM (located in my profile)
Much love to you!

I'd be interested. I live in Mountain View, which might actually be 408, I don't remember (I don't have a home phone, only a cell, so I am very unaware of things like this).
There are a lot of good places for food on Castro in Mountain View, and on California in Palo Alto. Also there is University Ave in Palo Alto, but that tends to be more expensive and also more crowded.

Re: 650 dinner
Wed, February 1, 2006 - 1:30 PMWell, someone's gotta organize this thing, so let's start with this:
What times are good for people? I think I already mentioned that I work until 9 on m-th, so normal dinner time for me will only work on fri, sat, or sun. What are y'all's dinner schedules like?
Where are you people? south, mid, or north 650? The City Pub in RWC is a good centrally located place, decent pub food, burgers, salads, fries, beer. Unless y'all are down in MV in which case we should go there.
When? How'sabout after the 14th, just because . . .
