Doctor recommendation?

So I just got snazzy new insurance through my new job (Aetna PPO) and I need to see a doctor about some sinus/allergy issues I've been neglecting for months. I figure a GP/Family Medicine doc is the best place to start, then they can tell me what sort of specialist to see. I've looked at my insurance's doctor list, but would like to hear a first-hand recommendation.
Ideally, their office would be in RWC, Palo Alto or Mtn View.

    I can recommend *against* Dr. Bullock (Peter, I think), on Birch St in RWC. gruff and doesn't seem to care one way or another: probably an okay doctor, but fairly unpleasant to interact with. on the other hand there's an NP in the same office who seems pretty on top of things and actually listens to what you say.
